red dot award（紅點獎）源自德國。red dot是與iF獎齊名的一個工業設計大獎，是世界上知名設計競賽中最大最有影響的競賽之一。下面請跟我們一起感受德國紅點設計大獎2009年創意家居。以下幾款獲獎設計作品簡約精致，別出心裁。每一款作品都讓我們嘆為觀止。無論是選材還是設計，絲毫無雷同之處。尤其是那款書桌，設計奇特，韻味十足。其他幾款則大膽突破常規，不落窠臼。讓我們在欣賞作品的同時更加感嘆設計師的才華！

一、magic desk Writing Table

magic desk is an exciting interpretation of the classic writing table. The combination of the table sides’ harmonious proportions with a polished surface lends the furniture the appearance of meditative calm. The hinges, made of stainless steel, are thoroughly incorporated by hand. 

二、NICEtable08 Table

The NICEtable08 combines purist design with high-quality application of elegant materials. The frame is made of stainless steel and the tabletop of dark-brown suede-like Nextel lacquer. Its sophisticated pull-out mechanism makes it possible to extend the table to accommodate up to four extra seats. 

三、Qubit Sofa

Uniting aesthetics and comfort Qubit invites to relax. With only three elements the most different combinations can be arranged. Thanks to its compact dimensions Qubit offers room for lounging around even when there is little space. In conjunction with a long stool this sofa transforms into a daybed

四、Roller-Mini Design Castor

Invisibility is the advantage of these little castors with integrated brake. Just placed in the bottom plate or the leg of a furniture or device the Roller-Minis make it “hover” at close distance to the ground. Thus, this castors offer elegant mobility and undisturbed freedom of designing furniture and devices – without the visual dominance of visible castors. 

五、Split Desk

The finely drawn secretaire unites elements of traditional craftsmanship with modern design techniques, showcasing many precisely worked details, such as sliding storage chests, niches for paper and office equipment, sliding covers for cable tidies, a dock beneath the top for a multiway plug and a pivoting desk light. 

六、system 400 Shelves, Sideboards, Cabinets

The basic structure of the system 400 consists of grooved shelves and wall elements. These elements are fitted into each other to make them stable and self-supporting. The screwed back wall stabilises all bearing units. The upper board completes the basic structure. The system 400 affords three different levels and is optionally provided with a conductor rail, which extends it with sliding doors to sideboards and cabinets
