red dot award（紅點獎）源自德國。red dot是與iF獎齊名的一個工業(yè)設計大獎，是世界上知名設計競賽中最大最有影響的競賽之一。下面請跟我們一起感受德國紅點設計大獎2009年創(chuàng)意家居。以下幾款獲獎設計作品均以清新自然，簡約大方吸引人們的注意，沖擊我們的視覺神經。簡單常見的材料經過設計師們的精心設計和打造，帶給我們的是驚喜和贊嘆。清新淡雅的色彩讓人心情頓時明朗，加入我們！跟我們一起盡情去體驗吧！

一、Chillap 3-in-1 Armchair

The Chillap occasional chair of the Kamasitra collection offers three well-conceived and pleasing functions: the 360-degree rotating, multifunctional armchair allows to change the desired perspective at any time; the Chillap features a flexible armrest that can be converted into a convenient support for a laptop or book as well in inside as outside position. The functional armchair is available in four different versions with diverse sub-frames of matt or polished stainless steel.

二、Cuvert Seating Furniture

This assembly of seating furniture wants to offer enough space for personal well-being. Its draft was inspired by the form concept of an envelope. The trapezoidal surfaces form a cube which seems to float in space without any visible base frame. Out of the basic shape of an envelope the furniture unfolds a soft, upholstered interior. With its still delicate impression the ensemble is composed of an armchair, sofas of three different lengths and stools offering exceptional seating comfort. Other versions, for example a combination of leather and fabrics, are an appealing option. Matching coloured coffee tables made of acrylic and felt carpets with woollen applications round off Cuvert as an extensive product line.

三、Delphi Sofa

The Delphi product line consists of eleven modules offering a variety of individual sofa solutions. They can be used as classic chaise longue or, by turning the modules and adding a long seating upholstery, they turn into a seating furniture in traditional sofa format. Delphi is generously conceived and its construction displays an interesting dynamics emphasised by ingenious details. The asymmetry of the different seating depths is repeated at the backrests and armrests. This is inspiring not only for the whole body but also for the viewer’s eye. Solid cushions are made of visco-elastic foam and feature an eiderdown cover. The base frame is available in brushed chromium-plated steel or untreated oak. 

四、Dong-Dong-Chiang Bench, Deck Chair

The Dong-Dong-Chiang is at the same time a wooden bench and a deck chair. In order to keep its balance and stability when folded two additional legs have been added to the originally four legs. Four pieces of solid wood have been glued together and then cut into two so that the piece of furniture can be folded. The curved part corresponds with the shape of the human body. Tenons joint the boards and the surface has been CNC-polished. The axle centre is made of steel to increase seating comfort and durability.

五、Duo Sofa

 With its three elements and two different heights this sofa discerns itself from well-known shapes. It has been conceived for waiting lounges offering a possibility to meet and talk. Everybody may sit down, be it for a short pause or for a long wait. These modules offer a great variety of forms. A home version is also available. 

六、iTable  Table

The iTable offers manifold new options in home entertainment. The monochrome version in white corresponds with the colourfulness of an iPod. At the bottom side of the table a stereo sound system and a bass reflex box are mounted. A docking station is flush-mounted in the tabletop made of lacquered MDF. The player is automatically identified and the song title displayed. The iPod is operated via remote control and it is simultaneously charged during playback.

七、M04 Table

Visual lightness is the dominant principle of this table programme. Consequently, material thickness is considerably reduced and its construction fully integrated in the tabletop. Its special features reveal themselves in the details: an adapter connecting the table legs with the tabletop also joins both elements to a visual unit. Thanks to its unobtrusive look the table programme is suitable for different surroundings. Variable surfaces and dimensions facilitate its integration.
