光線可以改變生活空間，良好的光線應用能令空間呈現更強的藝術感和宜居性，設計光就是在設計空間。Interior Design 將于5月9日在Artkey 798 舉行設計師沙龍，共同討論在低碳、綠色節能的環境下，如何實現對光的塑造以及光給空間帶來的獨特性，探討在建筑空間中光線運用的解決之道。屆時，國際知名遮陽節能專家Ken Witherell將會進行Iovating Beauty and Performance的主題演講，并與設計師們分享在建筑及室內設計中光線運用的心得。

同時，由亨特時尚窗飾及Interior Design共同主辦的亨特時尚窗飾-Interior Design第二屆全國高校空間設計大賽亦于本次沙龍正式啟動。大賽旨在推動年輕設計師群體的崛起，促進行業研究和發展，同時在大學生群體中挖掘產生更多的創意設計，在倡導簡約時尚生活理念的同時，為室內設計行業輸送新鮮血液。

Ken Witherell Global Product Manager 3G Mermet Corporation

康偉德，北美著名的遮陽產品研發專家、美國建筑師協會﹡高級講師，擁有長達26年的工業紡織行業經驗，其工作范圍涉及產品研發、生產營運與銷售等。而作為梅爾美公司全球產品經理，近17年來他都致力于研發創新的綠色環保技術應用于遮陽節能領域，為業界提供具有革新性能而環保節能的遮陽產品。 美國建筑師協會――Architects Ititute of America (AIA), 其宗旨為培養更高素質的建筑師、設計師、工程師、設備管理者和專業人員以促進建筑、設計和材料使用等領域在健康、福利、采光、節能以及美學方面的發展。 Ken Witherell has 26 years of experience in the field of technical textiles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Chemistry from North Carolina State University and has worked in various roles including R&amD, Product Development, Operatio and Sales as the start, and afterwards, for the last 17+ years, in the window covering market where he is currently the Global Product Manager for 3G Mermet Corporatoin. Ken is currently developing new and iovative solar scree that will incorporate new “greener” cutting edge technologies for upcoming products introductio. He is a certified presenter for the AIA, Architects Ititute of America, for Continuing Education Credits benefiting Architects, Designers, Engineers, Facility Managers and ecifiers involved in the design and selection of components that include health and well being, daylighting, energy efficiency and aesthetics.
